Written on an English autograph hunter's typed letter in which C.R.G. Harris addresses the famous baseball player as "Dear Madam", this letter evoked an unusual response from The Babe, containing both humor and irritation.... This item comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA (MINT "9") (Steve Grad and Zach Rullo), and a Letter of Grading and Authenticity from JSA (James Spence Authentication).

Absolutely unimprovable black fountain pen autograph is quite literally the ultimate Ruth specimen. It was apparently acquired by the original autograph hound at a chop suey restaurant in Chicago, as the signature appears on the verso of a business card from such an establishment. A couple of hairline creases and light toning of the card are noted only for accuracy's sake, and do nothing to diminish the stunning power of this ultra-bold autograph. The standard by which all others should be judged. This item comes encased in a PSA/DNA holder for protection and unquestioned authenticity.
