Presented here is a signed original snapshot of the world's most celebrated diamond icon of all time, George Herman Ruth. This 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" sepia-toned photograph is rare, indeed in that it depicts the Babe in a Boston Braves uniform. Though his boyish aura had long-since vanished and the trademark Yankee pinstripes had been replaced, Ruth "constants" captured here include his trademark sizable gut and cookie-shaped face. Angled on the image's lower portion, Ruth's blue-ink signature ("8") highlights the visual treasure. The item has retained its original gloss and presents minimally at the EX/MT level, with small, peripheral creases and crazing limited to the white borders. This item comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA, Steve Grad and Zach Rullo, and an LOA from JSA/James Spence Authentication.

Always a gentleman and forever conveying a no-nonsense style, Roger Maris put his signature on one of the game's greatest individual season-long showings with a standard-setting 61st home run on the final day of the 1961 campaign. This 8" x 10" black and white photograph reveals Maris as he watches homer No. 60 leave Yankee Stadium. The telling shot shows Maris watching the majestic flight of the ball, with Baltimore catcher Gus Triandos looking on in awe from behind the dish. (Maris, incidentally, was benched the following day and did not eclipse Ruth's mark until five days later in the final game of the season.) In black felt tip, Maris' curvaceous signature projects at a resounding strength of "9/10." The item presents at the apparent NM-condition level and must be considered among the best Maris signed photos availaible in the marketplace.
